DML - Season Series (iRacing 23S4)

Season Series is a new concept that was created based on your feedback. The concept is a league series that mirrors and parallels an official iRacing series. When combined with our weekly driver training series, Pit Party, our intent is to add as much mutual benefit as possible for driver growth and learning.

For iRacing 23S4 we're paralleling the Formula Ford (FF1600) Rookie Series.

I think this is a great concept that adds so much mutual benefit for our community racers. Starting with the weekly Pit Party early in the week, our community of drivers will find themselves being able to gain real practice all week by participating in the official iRacing companion series and ultimately culminate those efforts into the weekly DML Season Series event on Saturdays.

Series Details

Required Content

All circuits are included in the base iRacing subscription.
Featuring the Formula Ford (FF1600).
Track schedule aligns with the official iRacing Rookie FF1600 schedule.

(This is a DML Base Content Series. No additional content is required beyond the base

iRacing subscription.)

Double "Feature Race" Format

The series features two 20 minute feature races.

The grid starting order for race one is determined by qualifying.
The grid starting order for race two is the reverse finish order of race one.

e.g. Race one winner starts last and last place starts first.

Event Itinerary (Times UTC / US Eastern)

Each event will be held on Saturday afternoons.

Practice: 1800 UTC / 2:00pm EST (30min)
Qualifying: 1830 UTC / 2:30pm EST (Individual 10min / 3 Laps)
Race One Start: 1840 UTC / 2:40pm EST (20 minute sprint)
Race Two Start: 1900 UTC / 3:00pm EST (20 minute sprint)

(Drivers need only be on the server before qualifying starts.)

W4 - October 7th: Charlotte Legends RC Long
W5 - October 14th: Oran Park - South
W6 - October 21st: Lime Rock - Classic
W7 - October 28th: VIR - North
W8 - November 4th: Tsukuba 2000 Full
W9 - November 11th: Laguna Seca
W10 - November 18th: Okayama - Full
W11 - November 25th: Lime Rock - Chicanes
W12 - December 2nd: Summit Point

Register For The Series

Registering for the series is a simple four step process.

1) Join the Delta Motorsports League Discord.

2) Follow Delta Motorsports League on SimGrid.

Note: If you don't already have an account with SimGrid you'll need to create one first.

3) Register for the series on SimGrid by clicking the "Register" button on the event page.

4) Apply to join Delta Motorsports League through the iRacing website by clicking below.

Alternatively you can use the iRacing Launcher UI League Search Feature.

I will make a pass, usually daily, to approve any pending join requests.
